Whitefish and Gull

Whitefish & Gull:  With only 2 remaining regularly scheduled tourney’s left, approx. 25 teams will qualify for the Year End 2 day Tournament on the Pokegama chain near Grand Rapids.  Friday August 19th – Whitefish.  August 20th:  Gull.  Get your entries in now

Reno

Reno:  After some pretty strong storms overnite, the weigh-in at the Green Iquana had Shane Reveling and Mason Raveling put together the top bag with a total weight of 17.67 #’s and the big bass @ 4.22 #’s.  2nd place went to Brian Blaeser and Karl Kleman @ 16.25 #’s, 3rd place team of Eric Fabano and James Chapman @ 16.17 #’s.  ‘Just Out of the Money’ rods went to Trevor Tousil and Matt Klemm.  Tournament stats…
·         All teams brought a limit the 5 fish limit to the scales.
·         Reno had a 99.11% live release.
·         The average weight per fish brought to the scales:  2.777 #’s.

Minnewaska

Minnewaska:  On an almost perfect day to be on the water, 19 teams all brought the 5 fish limit to the scales on the deck of Waters Edge in Starbuck.  Saturday July 9th.  Tom Petron and Cory Putnam put together mixed bag with 3 smallies and 2 LMB’s for a weight of 15.58 #’s.  2nd place went to the double D team – (Dave Hartig & Dave Skallet) w/15/.21.  3rd place went to Zach Scully and Cheyse Barrett @ 14.85, 4th went to Eric Fabano & James Chapman @ 14.85 and the ‘Just Out of the Money’ rods went to Dane Vocelka and Mike Hoppe @ 14.74.  Breakdown had shown almost a 50/50 split between smallies and LMB’s (49 smallies and 46 LMB’s).  Big bass went to Dane Vocelka and Mike Hoppe @ 4.14 #’s.  A breakdown of all teams is attached.
